Agency History

Hailey Insurance was founded in 2003 in Baton Rouge by Derek Hailey. Through hard work and commitment to our clients, the agency successfully expanded over the years and now serves clients in more than 15 states.

Derek Hailey

Derek began his career as a sales agent in Oklahoma City for a regional advertising company. In the late 1990s he was transferred to New Orleans with a national insurance carrier and quickly built a loyal client base in south Louisiana. He made the jump in 2003 and decided to form his own agency in Baton Rouge.
